How do email notifications work?
Trackler sends emails when there are new messages in Tracks you have access to.
To prevent you from receiving an email for every individual message, notifications are combined into a single daily email.
When do you receive an email?
Trackler checks every hour whether there are unread messages for your account.
You will receive an email when:
there are new messages
you have not read them yet
you are not currently active in Trackler
Why do I sometimes receive multiple emails per day?
Normally, you receive a maximum of one email per day with new messages.
However, you may receive another email if:
You received an email with new messages
You later logged in to Trackler
New messages were posted after that
Because you were active again, Trackler can send a new notification email if there are additional unread messages.
Why is it set up this way?
This notification system ensures that:
you don’t receive an email for every single message
you won’t miss messages when you are offline
you stay informed about important updates
