Trackler as a Lead Magnet

Use an external form as a lead magnet on your website. Collect email addresses, automatically send an open Track invitation, and automate your follow-up with workflows.

Updated this week

What is a lead magnet in Trackler?

A lead magnet is a low-threshold way to collect new leads through your website.

Visitors fill in a form and automatically receive access to your Track. This turns interest into action immediately.

Step 1: Create a form and make it external

  1. Go to Forms

  2. Create a new form

  3. Add at least an Email address field

  4. Publish the form

  5. Set the form to External

You will now receive a public URL that you can use outside Trackler.

Step 2: Add the URL behind a button on your website

Use the external form URL:

  • Add it to a button on your website

For example:

  • “Download free e-book”

  • “Request a free intake session”

  • “Get the checklist”

When someone clicks the button, the external form opens.

Step 3: Create an Open Invite

Before setting up the automation, you need an Open Invite link.

  1. Go to Track Settings → Track Invitations

  2. Create an Open Invite

  3. Copy the generated invitation link

You will use this link inside your workflow.

An open invite allows anyone with the link to join the Track themselves.

Step 4: The lead fills in the form

The visitor:

  1. Clicks the button on your website

  2. Fills in the form

  3. Submits the form

The data is automatically stored in Trackler.

Step 5: Create a workflow for automatic invitation

Go to Workflows and create a new workflow.

Actions

  1. Retrieve the email address from the form

  2. Send an email to that address

  3. Add the Open Invite link to the email

    • Example message: Thank you for your request!
Click the link below to access your Track: (Open Track invitation link)

  4. Publish the workflow.

From now on, every new lead automatically receives an invitation.

Next Steps: Nurture flows and automation

It doesn’t stop here.

Once someone joins your Track, you can set up additional workflows such as:

  • Automatic welcome message after joining

  • Information email after 2 days

  • Reminder after 7 days

  • Additional content after 14 days

  • Automatic follow-up when someone is inactive

This allows you to build a fully automated funnel inside Trackler.

What happens next?

The lead:

  • Receives the email

  • Clicks the invitation link

  • Becomes a member of your Track

  • Automatically receives further follow-up

And voilà — you are together in one environment and the magic can begin.

Why does this work so well?

  • No more manual invitations

  • Immediate follow-up of website visitors

  • Higher conversion rates

  • Fully automated process

  • Expandable with nurture automations

Your website becomes an active entry point for new participants.
