With a Track invitation, you share a link that lets participants create a Track themselves. You don't need to create the Track manually first. You decide in advance what the Track looks like, who the coach is and which tags are added.
You can find this under Settings → Track Invitations.
What can you set up?
For each invitation, you decide:
The title participants see on the invitation
The name of the Track that is created
Who the Track Leader is
Which tags are always added
Which tags you can optionally add through the link
Which Track Board the Track starts with
Creating an invitation
Click New invitation link.
Fill in the fields:
Invitation title: the title participants see on the invitation, for example "Getting started with Barbara".
Track title: the name of the Track. Use
%first_name%and%last_name%to add the participant's name, for example "Coaching %first_name% %last_name%".Track Leaders: who is automatically linked to the Track as coach.
Tags: every Track created through this invitation gets these tags.
Allowed URL tags (optional): tags you can add per link. See below.
Track Board: the apps and widgets the Track starts with.
Click Save.
The Copy invitation link window opens. Click Copy URL and share the link.
Dynamic tags with allowed URL tags
Allowed URL tags let you use one invitation for multiple clients or programs. Without this option, you would need a separate invitation for every combination of coach, client and program.
How it works:
Under Allowed URL tags, choose which tags can be added through the link, for example one tag per client.
Click Save.
In the Copy invitation link window, click the tags you want to add to this link. They are added to the end of the link, for example
?tags=clientname.Click Copy URL.
Anyone who signs up through this link gets a Track with the fixed tags and the selected URL tags. This way you can create different links for the same invitation, for example one per client.
Example: the invitation "Getting started with Barbara" has the fixed tag Program and the allowed URL tag Client name. If you share the link without a URL tag, the Track only gets Program. If you share the link with Client name, the Track gets both tags.
Linking tags to programs
Tags don't add a program by themselves. You set that up with a workflow that responds to the tag and, for example, prepares the right program or note template. If you want the link to determine which program someone gets, create one tag per program.
Using invitations on a site
You can link a Track invitation to a button on a site, such as "Start a session". To add tags there as well, place the tag part of the link (for example ?tags=clientname) after the invitation link on the site.
You can also use the link outside Trackler, for example on your own website or in an email.

Open enrollment: participants sign up for a training on their own.
One invitation per coach: URL tags per client or program keep the number of invitations small.
