How do I use Notes in a Track?

Use notes to document session summaries, observations, or reminders. You control who can see them — and can share a note in the Track chat to notify others of something new.

Creating a note

You’ll find notes in the Track under the Notes tab. Click Create Note to get started.

Write your content in the editor on the left. You can add blocks (like headings, text, bullet points) by typing ‘/’**.

Setting visibility

For every note, you decide who can view it:

  • All Track members – visible to both Trackees and Track Leaders

  • Track Leaders – visible only to facilitators

  • Only me – private, visible only to you

Click the visibility icon in the top right corner of the note to adjust this.

Tip: Use a clear title and pin important notes to the top using the menu in the top right.

Sharing notes in the Track

Want to actively notify someone about a new note? You can share it in the Track chat:

  1. Open the chat within the Track.

  2. Click the plus icon (+) below the input field.

  3. Choose Notes and select the note you want to share.

This adds the note as an attachment in the chat, so the Trackee or colleague can access it directly.
