Create a course with AI

Build your first course in TracklerPro using AI. Share your existing materials with Claude or ChatGPT and get a ready-to-use course structure back that you can copy and paste straight into Trackler.

You do not have to build your course from scratch. With an AI tool like Claude or ChatGPT, you can turn existing materials (a PDF, Word document or notes) into a complete course structure in minutes. Copy the prompt below, add your materials and you are ready to start filling in Trackler.

What you need

  • An account on Claude or ChatGPT

  • Your course materials: a PDF, Word file, slides or notes

  • An empty course in TracklerPro (create one via Settings > Courses > Create course)

The prompt

Copy the text below in full. Paste it into Claude or ChatGPT. Then add your materials. You can upload a file or paste your text directly beneath the prompt.

You are an assistant that converts course materials into a ready-to-use structure for the e-learning platform TracklerPro.

I will share my course materials with you. Convert them into the structure below. Write all texts so they are immediately usable, as I will copy them directly into Trackler.

Create the following sections:

BASIC INFORMATION

Title: a short, clear name for the course.

Short description: maximum 500 characters. This is the first thing participants see. Make it inviting and concrete: what will they learn, what will they get out of it?

Long description: a more detailed explanation of the course. What is the goal? Who is it for? What can participants expect? Write in paragraphs.

COURSE STRUCTURE

Divide the content into logical chapters. Each chapter contains one or more lessons and optionally a quiz. Use this format:

Chapter [number]: [Title] Lesson [number]: [Title] Lesson content: write the full text of the lesson. Also indicate where an image or video would fit well with the note [IMAGE/VIDEO: description].

Quiz: [Title] (only add if it fits naturally.) Quiz intro text: a short explanation of what the participant will do. Question 1: [text] with two or three answer options.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Indicate which lessons would benefit from an image or video, whether any documents would work as attachments (worksheets, reflection questions), and whether the order of the chapters is logical.

Adding the output to Trackler

Once the AI is done, you have all the texts you need. Add them to Trackler as follows:

  • Go to Settings > Courses and open the course you created.

  • Under Basic information, fill in the title, short description, color scheme and status. Set the status to Draft while you are still working on it.

  • Click the Description tab to add the long description.

  • Go back to the course editor and add your chapters via Add chapter. Within each chapter, add lessons and quizzes via Add step.

  • Copy the lesson content from the AI into the editor. Add images or video at the spots the AI indicated.

  • Upload documents (worksheets, attachments) via the Documents button in the top right of the course editor.

Frequently asked questions

  • Does this work in ChatGPT too?
Yes, the prompt works in both Claude and ChatGPT. You can upload a file or paste text in either tool.

  • Can I adjust the prompt?
Yes. If your course requires a specific structure, adjust the course structure section. The rest of the prompt can stay as is.

  • What if the AI structures my material differently than I want?
Send a follow-up message such as: "Merge chapters 2 and 3" or "Split lesson 3 into two shorter lessons." The AI will adjust based on your feedback.

  • Can I share multiple files?
Claude and ChatGPT both support multiple uploads per conversation. Upload them one by one or combine them into a single file for the best result.

  • How do I publish the course?
Go to the course in Trackler, click Update course and change the status from Draft to Published.
