With data tags, you can automatically personalize workflow messages. Instead of a generic message, your Trackee receives something like "Hello Sarah, this is a reminder for your appointment on March 24th." That way, an automated message still feels personal, without any manual effort.
What are data tags?
Data tags are dynamic variables you insert into a message. When the workflow runs, Trackler automatically replaces each tag with the real value, such as the Trackee's first name, the appointment location, or the start time.
Where to find them
Data tags are available inside the Send message to Track action. Click the layers icon in the message field to browse and insert available tags.
Which tags are available?
It depends on two things:
The trigger you chose for the workflow
The actions before the message action in the workflow
If you use the trigger Before/During/After appointment starts, you have access to the Trackee's first name, the appointment location, and the appointment start time, for example.
β
If an earlier action in the workflow creates a form, that data may also become available as a tag.
Tips
Not seeing the tag you need? Check whether your trigger or a preceding action actually provides that data.
Always test your workflow before activating it, to make sure the right data gets filled in.
