Trackler doesn’t have built-in job roles. If you want to give someone the role of Track Manager — someone who can independently create and manage Tracks — you can do so through the permissions system.
It’s a two-step process:
Create a custom role
Assign that role to the right user
Step 1 – Create a custom role with the right permissions
Go to Settings > Roles & Permissions
Click “Add Role”
Give the role a name, such as Track Manager
Click Permissions in the left menu
Toggle on Can manage Tracks
Make sure the following permissions are enabled:
Can edit Track settings
Can create Track
Can invite to Track
Can create Tracks for others
Can edit settings of others’ Tracks
Can manage Track metadata
Can manage metadata of others’ Tracks
Can manage members of others’ Tracks
Click Save
Step 2 – Assign the role to a user
Go to Settings > Members
Click the three dots next to the user you want to update
Select Edit permissions
Choose the newly created role (e.g. Track Manager)
Click Save
That user now has the Track Manager role and can start managing Tracks independently.
