You can download any note in a Track as a PDF file. This makes it easy to share the content outside Trackler, for example by email, or to keep a copy on your own computer.
How to export a note
Open the Track and click the note you want to export
Click the ⋯ menu in the top right of the note
Select Export to PDF
The PDF is downloaded straight to your computer. The file name is the title of the note.
What's in the PDF?
The PDF contains the full note, with a few details listed above it:
the title of the note
Created by: the name of the person who created the note
Last updated: the date and time of the most recent change
Track: the name of the Track the note belongs to
Below that you'll find the content of the note, including formatting such as bullet lists and any images you added. Documents attached to the note appear as a link in the PDF rather than as a full file.
Who can export a note?
You can export a note if you have access to it. For a closed note, this means only you can export it. For a note you've shared in the Track, the other participants can export it as well.
Please note: once you've downloaded a note as a PDF, that file sits outside Trackler. Be mindful of who you send it to afterwards, especially with sensitive information.
