Many coaches use a public form as a first point of contact, such as an intake or application form on their website. At that point, the person filling it in is not yet a Trackler user. If they decide to work with you, you'll want those first answers available in their Track. You can do this by linking the submission to the right Track afterwards.
How it works in practice
A prospect fills in your public form, for example on your website.
After an introductory conversation, they become a client and you create a Track.
You open the form's submission overview and link the submission to the new Track.
From then on, the submission is part of the Track and all intake information is right at hand.
Linking a submission to a Track
Go to the form and open the submission overview.
Find the submission you want to link.
Choose the option to add the submission to a Track.
Select the right Track and save.
Good to know
Read-only: the linked submission is visible in the Track but cannot be edited.
Original answers stay the same: linking does not change the submitted data.
Submitter remains anonymous: if the person was not yet a user, the submission shows as "Anonymous" in the Track. It is not linked to the Trackee's account.
Who can do this: only Admins and Coaches can link submissions to a Track.
