Trackler currently only connects directly with Google Calendar and Outlook. If you use iCal, you can still sync your calendar by importing it into Google Calendar. Here’s how.

Add your iCal calendar to Google Calendar

  • Copy the iCal URL from your calendar (usually ending in .ics)

  • Open Google Calendar and sign in

  • On the left, click the plus icon next to 'Other calendars'

  • Select 'From URL'

  • Paste the iCal URL into the field

  • Click 'Add calendar'

  • Your iCal calendar will now appear under 'Other calendars' in Google Calendar

Things to keep in mind

  • Syncing is not instant. Google updates calendars added via URL only a few times per day

  • The imported calendar is read-only. You can view events in Google Calendar but not edit them

  • To make changes, you’ll need to update your original iCal calendar

What happens if you edit something in iCal?

  • Google Calendar periodically checks the iCal URL for updates

  • If it detects a change, it syncs the update during the next refresh

  • This usually takes a few hours, but it can sometimes take longer

  • Your changes will appear in Google Calendar once the sync has completed
