Scheduler: General Settings

Adjust the basic settings of your Scheduler, such as title, description, color, and event details. This determines how your booking page looks and what information is included in calendar invitations.

Where can you find these settings?

  1. Go to Meetings β†’ Schedulers

  2. Open an existing Scheduler or create a new one

  3. Click on General

Here you manage all core settings of your Scheduler.


Emoji

Add an emoji to make your Scheduler visually recognizable.

This helps with:

  • Distinguishing between multiple Schedulers

  • Faster recognition in the overview

  • Giving your booking page a more personal touch


Title

The title is the name of your Scheduler and is shown to the person booking the appointment.

Choose a clear and descriptive name, such as:

  • Intake Session

  • Coaching Session 60 min

  • Introduction Call


Short Scheduler Description

A short summary of what this Scheduler is used for.

This text helps you quickly identify the purpose of the planner internally.


Long Scheduler Description

Here you provide a detailed explanation of the purpose and use of this Scheduler.

This description is visible on the booking page, but not in the calendar invitation.

Use this field for:

  • Explaining what the session includes

  • Clarifying who the appointment is for

  • Providing preparation instructions


Location

Specify where the appointment takes place.

For example:

  • Haarlem

  • Practice Office Amsterdam

  • Online

This information is visible to the person booking the appointment.


Video Meeting

Enable Meeting Link to automatically add a video meeting link to appointments booked through this Scheduler.

The link will automatically be included in the calendar invitation.

Allow Editing of Video Meeting

With this option enabled, people who book an appointment can choose whether to use the generated video meeting link or add their own link.


Color Scheme

Choose a color to visually distinguish your Scheduler.

This helps with:

  • Keeping an overview when using multiple Schedulers

  • Maintaining consistent branding

  • Faster recognition


Public Access

Decide who can book appointments:

  • Enabled β†’ Anyone with the link can book

  • Disabled β†’ Only authenticated users with a Trackler account can book

Use this setting to make a Scheduler public or restrict access.


Appointment Type

Select the appointment type that will automatically be linked to appointments booked through this Scheduler.

This is useful for:

  • Reporting

  • Filtering

  • Keeping a structured overview in your calendar


When should you adjust these settings?

  • When creating a new Scheduler

  • When switching between physical and online meetings

  • When improving clarity on your booking page

  • When adjusting access or appointment types
